6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Revelation 14:6-13

The previous verses describe the righteous acts of the 144,000 that makes them worthy of the resurrection as first fruits. When the time of the end begins, they hear the first angel calling all mankind to worship the Creator God. Therefore, they are anointed as servants and prophets to the Living God and join the heavenly voices calling all men to repentance. They, like John the Baptist, will be the voice in the wilderness calling all men to herald the coming of the Messianic King, Jesus Christ.

The shepherds were on the hillside tending their sheep when they heard the angelic voices, and when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. Luke 2:8-18 The Good Shepherd included this story as a reminder that His sheep need to be tended, fed and cared for. The 144,000 will minister to a generation of lost sheep that do not know their God.

The 144,000 will share their knowledge during a time of great distress and prevailing darkness. The world will reward them with defamation and death, but Jesus declares there is no guile in their mouth and they are blameless before the throne of God. Revelation 14:5 With the keys to death and hell, the Father and the Son call them from the dead and they ascend into Heaven as a witness to the world that the rebellious ones are worthy of the wrath of God. The faith of the saints is greatly magnified when they see the 144,000 rise to glory.

Jesus - There is something about that name. Peter and John were preaching the name of Jesus with boldness and were told by the Jewish Sadducees to stop preaching in that name. Of course, based upon the things they had witnessed, they replied that they could not stop preaching in that name. There is no other name whereby a man can be saved from death. In Jesus is the resurrection. However, this precious name is a stumbling block and a rock of offense to many. Acts 4 The leadership at that time did many things to discredit the witness of the apostles. The leadership of the final generation will do the same thing regarding the 144,000.

The 144,000 are servants unto the living God and will prophesy, preach and teach in the last days. As a result of the preaching and teaching of the apostles, thousands at a time were drawn to Jesus. The power of the Holy Spirit was on the them as they prophesied and it was also upon the men and women that heard it changing lives by the multitudes. The seeds of the gospel were sown. We are reaching the time of the harvest.

The 144,000 will also preach in the name of Jesus, and will warn the world of the usurper that comes in His name claiming to be God. Like the apostles of the early church, their prophesying will result in a great multitude that will resist the beast and his image. They will profess the name of the true Savior to the world and will meet much resistance because Satan knows his time is short. They willingly offer their lives, life styles and livelihoods so that others may live because the Spirit and the Word dwells within them.

They will be called heretical by the world, but God declares their innocence to the entire universe. What does come out of their mouths? Revelation 14:6-11 They reveal the deception through their preaching and teaching. The spirit of evil will be heavy in the world, but the Holy Spirit will be poured out in a greater abundance. All the righteous angels in Heaven will join in declaring with them that the beast is a false god and to resist the temptation to join in with the world. Most will take the mark of the beast, but a great multitude will be influenced by the preaching and teaching of the 144,000. They will repent, then turn and serve the living God.

The heart of those that continue to serve the beast will become hardened. Their minds will close and they will be persuaded to silence the 144,000 by any means necessary. They will kill the 144,000 and celebrate their death. They would kill God if they could, instead they kill the servants of God. In addition, they will refuse to bury these prophets because they want to influence the saints to take the mark through acts of violence.

saints of God will display great patience and endurance. Much innocent blood will be shed. God's little lambs will be slaughtered as a Passover sacrifice. However, this fills the world's cup of iniquity causing God's wrath to be poured out on the ungodly in the form of the plagues. Whoever receives a prophet in the name of a prophet receives a prophet's reward. Those that believe the words of God's prophets will be passed over by the death angels. Jesus will mark his saints so the plagues do not touch them nor come nigh their door, but will pass over them.

As soon as the sacrifice (shedding of innocent blood) occurs and the saints of God are marked. The Feast of Unleavened bread begins. The saints will choose to hold to their God and flee the temptation of the beast. It will require much faith, but the Spirit of God will draw near them to strengthen and comfort. They will not be moved; and unlike Peter, they will stand firmly on the sea of glass. Only their sins will sink to the bottom of the sea, and only the soles of their feet will get wet.

Feast of Unleavened Bread lasts one week. In the midst of this week, on the day after the Sabbath (Sunday), the 144,000 will ascend into Heaven while all the saints and their enemies watch. This event doubles the faith of the saints and results in removing all sins of fear and doubt from their heart and mind. Their habitat of clay vessel has been cleansed of all leaven (sin) and they are ready to meet their God face to face when He comes.

The same hour the 144,000 rise from the dead and ascend into Heaven, the plagues begin to fall. However, the saints do not suffer from the plagues. Why? Their God, the One that covers with His own blood, marked them so when the angels of death come to pour out the plagues, they can identify the wheat from the tares. Matthew 13:24-30

14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Revelation 14:14-20

Jesus, the Son of Man, is sitting on a cloud waiting for the Father to send one of His angels out to tell Him the time has arrived to separate the wheat from the tares and prepare the tares for destruction. Jesus said that no one knows the day and hour not even Him, but only the Father. Matthew 24:35-36 Before the angels of death come to earth to distribute the plagues, Jesus separates the wheat from the tares by marking His own with innocent blood in preparation for the final Passover. They heard the voice of the Good Shepherd calling them in the witness of the 144,000. Since they answered the call, they are passed over and spared by the angels of death.

Revelation 14:17-20 describe the wrath of God as a winepress that crushes the grapes from the vine of the earth. These verses describe the death of the wicked living during the final days. Their death is the result of receiving the wrath of God. In these verses we receive a brief description of that dreadful event. However, Revelation 15 enlarges and expands this view and Revelation 16 gives us greater detail regarding the pouring out of God's wrath.

God has preordained that all can be saved from this day. it is not His desire that any should die, but that all would receive life. Hell is not a place He prepared for humanity, but for the devil and his angels. The devil is a liar and many will be persuaded to fight against God. That is not your lot in life.
